Using FundingGirl.com — reading it, contacting me through it, or applying for funding through it — means you accept these terms. They're written to be read, not skimmed past.
1. Who's behind the site
FundingGirl.com is the professional platform of Vanessa Giraldo · The Funding Girl, based in Boca Raton, Florida. Funding applications submitted through this site are arranged through Go Pro Capital LLC, whose own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy govern the funding products themselves.
2. Eligibility
To use the forms on this site, you must be at least 18 years old, authorized to act for the business you represent, and able to accept these terms. You agree that the information you submit is truthful and accurate.
3. Content is perspective, not advice
The essays, field notes, and commentary on this site are professional perspective from inside alternative lending. They are not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, and no reader relationship is created by reading them. Decisions about your business are yours; bring in your own advisors for them.
4. Consent to communications
By submitting your contact information, you consent to being contacted about your inquiry or application by email or phone. You can opt out at any time by saying so or by emailing Vanessa@fundinggirl.com.
5. SMS
Text messages are sent only if you check the SMS consent box on the funding application. Message frequency is typically no more than 3 per week; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Consent to SMS is not a condition of applying or receiving funding, and mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
6. No guarantee of funding
The application on this site is a pre-qualification. Every application goes through review and underwriting, and funding decisions are made case by case and are not guaranteed. Amounts, terms, and timing depend on the deal, the file, and the funder.
7. Funding programs and compensation
Funding arranged through Go Pro Capital LLC may include merchant cash advances, business lines of credit, term loans, SBA loans, and equipment or real-estate financing. Compensation may be received from third-party funding providers in connection with arranged funding.
8. Third-party service providers
Contracted providers handle parts of the operation — hosting, email delivery, application processing — under obligations to protect your information. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
9. Intellectual property
The writing, design, and identity of The Funding Girl are protected property. Don't reproduce or repurpose them without written consent. Quoting with attribution is welcome.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Funding Girl and Vanessa Giraldo are not liable for losses arising from errors in information you submit, decisions made by third-party funders, delays outside our control, technical failures, or indirect and consequential damages connected to use of this site.
11. No warranties
The site is provided "as is." No warranty is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
12. Indemnification
You agree to hold The Funding Girl and Vanessa Giraldo harmless from claims arising out of your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or inaccurate information you submit.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Florida.
14. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the rest remain in effect.
15. Changes
Updated terms will be posted here with a new date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
